Here is the rough that was meant to be a promo piece for the Obsession mini-series. All we had was a loose plot of what characters were supposed to be in it. You can see characters from EP II a the middle left of the page. I'm still hoping to finish it someday... Posted by Hello

Your artwork is beautiful. I do the same in my spare time, and I aspire to be as fortunate as you in your Star Wars career!

All I can say is daaaaaang. And I second beeurd, you're gonna get mobbed here with all these sweet-ass drawings. :-p I feel ashamed to pick up a pencil when I see stuff like this. I'd really like to see you fill in Ani's face; right now it's kinda detracting from the beauty of the whole thing...

If Obsession is put in a tpb, this HAS to be the cover. ;)

First of all, it's so great to hear from everyone and thanks for all your comments. No need to worry about getting mobbed here... I check out Zack Braff's Blog every once in a while and that one is crazy busy! See for yourself-

It's pretty quiet here by comparison.

I remember that when I was growing up I LOVED seeing any sort of behind-the-scenes type stuff. It made the experience of reading the comics somehow seem more tangible to me-- like some guy out there is actually creating this stuff and it's not just made in a factory. Maybe it was the sketch lines or whatever that made it look less perfect but I loved seeing it. That's one of the reasons I put up this blog. The other is that, as an artist, it's just fun to share your work with others.

Since I'm seeing that there are other artists here, let me know when you set up your site or gallery or just send me your image. Sharing is fun!

Your art is without a doubt amazing. Upon seeing Republic 53 I was hooked. I would say by the time most people got to see Fay open up on Ventress they were enthralled as well. I am thoroughly enjoying the current Obsession series and can not wait to see how it wraps up. Best of luck in all regards. – B

Great cover design Brian :)
You know, you should get together with the rest of DHC artists, poke Randy a little (I'll do the same at CIII) and get him to do a Panel to Panel version with unfinshed work/sketches/etc. Maybe a little smaller than the one that came out a while ago, but this time with Randy comments and comments from the artists about what was the impetus behind their ideas - then we get an all-round view of DHC workings, and I have a feeling this could help budding artists too?
